The Tanzania Association of Microfinance Institutions (TAMFI) in collaboration with the Microfinance Department of the Bank of Tanzania (BoT), successfully hosted a workshop titled “Regulatory Performance Reporting, Compliance and Data Quality.” The workshop was conducted on 16th -17th March 2026 at PSSSF Complex, Sam Nujoma Road, Ubungo, Dar es Salaam.
The sessions provided member institutions with practical guidance to:
- Prepare accurate and legally compliant reports
- Strengthen data quality management and discipline
- Enhance professionalism in daily operations
This initiative has empowered microfinance institutions to sharpen their reporting skills and ensure submissions to the Bank of Tanzania meet the highest standards.
Beyond compliance, the training reflects a shared commitment to transparency, accountability, and sustainable growth in the microfinance sector. By embracing these practices, member institutions are not only strengthening their own operations but also contributing to a more inclusive and resilient financial ecosystem across Tanzania.
