SameKaya SACCOS proudly marks 23 years of dedicated service since its establishment on 21st January 2002. What began with just 73 members and an initial capital of TZS 400,000/= has now grown into a thriving financial cooperative, serving over 8000 members with a capital exceeding TZS 4.2 billion.
Founded with the purpose of providing financial access to the underserved communities, SameKaya SACCOS has gone beyond and has continued to address community specific needs with products and services related to renewable energy and water supply and sanitation. Over the years SameKaya SACCOS has expanded operations and is providing financial services in these regions:
- Kilimanjaro – Same & Mwanga
- Manyara – Simanjiro
- Tanga – Korogwe City & Korogwe District
