TAMFI has announced that this years East Africa Microfinance Summit will take place in Dar es Salaam early november.
Mr Altemius Millinga, the Chairman-Organizing Committee said:
“TAMFI, a member of East African Microfinance Network has been given the mandate to organize the second East African Microfinance Summit in Tanzania.”
Mr Millinga who is also TAMFI Vice Chair said the summit will be held on 2nd to 4th November, 2016 at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC), Dar es Salaam.
Other members of the East Africa Microfinance Network include AMIR (Rwanda), AMFIU (Uganda), RIM (Burundi), MASS (Southern Sudan and AMFI (Kenya).
Tamfi has invited member and other microfinance stakeholders to attend the important conference. The theme of the summit is, “accelerating financial inclusion for economic development.”
“This conference is for both of us Tanzanian, TAMFI is organizing on behalf of us and East microfinance network. We hope that both of you will attend this conference which will provide you with an opportunity to meet with your colleagues and friends. Due to a large cost to make this conference success all conference participants are expected to pay the registration fees and the deadline will be 30th September,” Mr Millinga noted.
